Chicken Sambol

Hello foodies,

How was your day today?I had a long and hectic day as I had to do some shopping for my little angel :):).

I have become sick of eating short eats for ifthar and wanted something else.. spicy and tasty.. So I decided to make something using Chicken cos that is the only thing I had in my fridge :P.

This is my own invention and my dad named it as "Chicken Sambol". It was really easy to prepare and was tasty. I had it with steamed rice and think that steamed rice is the perfect combination for this dish.

Chicken Sambol

I apologize about the picture quality cos my camera charger broke and I got it fixed only in the night today... the time I had finished eating the sambol so couldn't take a better pic. IA will try to get a good pic the next time I make it. :):).

Lets get started with the recipe
The ingredients you need for making this dish are

Boneless chicken                   - 250g (cut into small cubes)
Onion                                       - 1 medium size (chopped)
Curry leaves                            - 10
Ginger Garlic Paste               - 1 tbsp
Oil                                             - 3 tbsp
Cheese                                      - 2 tbsp
Chicken masala powder       - 1 tbsp
Chicken BBQ tikka powder - 1 tbsp
Salt                                           - 1 tsp

Method

Heat oil in a pan
Add ginger garlic paste
Add curry leaves
Add onion and fry until soft
Add chicken pieces  and cook for 15 minutes. Make sure the chicken is well cooked and roasted in the oil.
Add chicken masala pwd, bbq pwd and salt
Stir and cook for another 5 minutes
Add cheese and cook for 2 minutes
Remove from heat
Serve hot

Note: you can add more cheese if you want the curry to be creamy. Do not add water as the chicken will get cooked in the water present in the meat.

Try this.. It is easy and tasty

Let me know your feedback

Have a good day

Take care :)
